Estheticians are expected to perform medical and spa services in a friendly and professional manner to all clients. Estheticians must have thorough knowledge and training of all medical and spa services. Estheticians must keep their working area/rooms clean and machines properly sanitized after each procedure. Estheticians must have adequate knowledge of the skin. Estheticians are expected to show exemplary client/patient care. Estheticians will be required to perform consults via;  walk in basis, appointments scheduled, and patients referred from Randall Dermatology. Estheticians will also attend required monthly meetings for advanced training and continuing education. Estheticians must possess excellent communication skills. Estheticians will also be required to learn and assist in working the front coordinator position occasionally; this will also include executing end of business day transactions successfully. Estheticians will be required to assist Randall Dermatology where and when needed. Estheticians will be expected to travel often. Estheticians will have appropriate knowledge/training of current and or updated software systems utilized at MedSpa and Randall Dermatology.
Estheticians are required to hold and maintain a current Indiana state licenses.

Responsibilities

·         Be on time for each appointment and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service.
·         Stay self motivated with keeping your 'open hours' productive for yourself and the company.
·         Provide consistent professional treatments and services in accordance with MedSpa and Randall Dermatology protocols and accepted certification practices.
·         Clean the room after each treatment. Restock the room with clean linens/towels and disposable treatment products. Sanitize all equipment and or machines used during the procedure.
·         Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by laws and Randall Dermatology's policies and procedures.
·         Have complete knowledge and understanding of all service and products while educating and training clients in their skin care needs.
·         Maintain a positive and professional attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
·         Actively promote MedSpa and Randall Dermatology treatments, services, retail, and monthly specials.
·         Assist in any front desk services. Including:  greeting patients, scheduling appointments, answering the phone, checking patients in/out, and handling monies.
·         Must be responsible for end of day duties including balancing the drawer and necessary reports.
·         Prepare necessary paperwork for each client and maintain accurate and current client files.
·         Must be responsible for all transfers of money from your location to West Lafayette to be deposited.
·         Keep an accurate record for hours worked within the pay period. If there is an error contact your direct supervisor immediately to remedy the situation.
·         Work professionally with other employees as well as clients.
·         Daily cleaning duties of the MedSpa and Randall Dermatology offices.
·         Travel is required
·         Attend skin care/ treatment continued education seminars.
·         Attend mandatory monthly staff lectures and mandatory bi-annual yearly meetings with Randall Dermatology.
